HEALTH FUND REBATES

All of our osteopaths at Isher Osteopathy are registered providers. On the spot health fund rebates are available through the HICAPS system. We will simply swipe your membership card and you will only ned to pay the gap. The rebate amount will vary depending on your cover. Check with your health fund provider to find out how much you will receive for each osteopathy treatment.

​Please note: A private health fund rebate can not be claimed for a consultation that is receiving a Medicare rebate.

MEDICARE REBATES

Medicare rebates are available for Osteopathy with a valid GP referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program. This was formerly referred to as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC). 

CDM enables GPs to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, including patients with these conditions who require multidisciplinary health care. A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer.

Consult with your GP to see if you are eligible for this program.

The full fee for the Osteopathy treatment is payable at the time of your consultation. The medicare will be processed on the same day and you should receive your rebate into you nominated bank account within 24-48hrs. The rebate amount for Osteopathy under the CDM program is $58.30.

Please note: Your CDM Plan needs to be addressed to Isher Osteopathy and to one of our Osteopaths. If you are receiving a Medicare rebate you will not be eligible for a private health fund rebate.
